20 years ago, French singer Gainsbourg died. Yes, but what link with Michael Jackson?
One song unites the two genius : “All The Things You Are”. Written by Oscar Hammerstein and Jérôme Kern, the song appears on Michael’s “Music & Me” album (1973), and was played at piano by Serge Gainsbourg in 1964 (with Michel Gaudry & Elek Bacsik).
